Good food. Small portions, and the wait was long

The food just WASNT worth the price. I was full after I ate everything but not satisfied at all. It made me want to go get a burger or something after. Shared Shrimpers Heaven, soup and salad, and shrimp mac & cheese.Service was fine.

Good food but a bit disappointed in the menu. No shrimp or crab cocktail. My seafood trio only had two kinds of seafood.

Not worth it. The staff were friendly but the service was incredibly slow. They may have been understaffed? The food was disappointing..bland. The menu options were disappointing as well. I'm not a seafood fan so I wasn't expecting many choices but it was equally disappointing for my seafood loving BF and sister. The redeeming quality was the dessert. The cookie sundae was really good. The cheesecake was good as well, however it was still partially frozen when it arrived and we had to use a butter knife. We did not order any special drinks but many people around us did and they looked good.

Went for Father's Day. We were underwhelmed by the lack of seafood. I.e. the calamari was mixed with peppers. It did specify that one on the menu. Then my dad actually got an entree of three different types of shrimp for everyone to share like an appetizer and it was more french fries (and doesn't say that on the menu) than shrimp. I got a Caesar salad with shrimp, again, somewhat scant shrimp. Lot's of lettuce and dressing. My dad and every one else got fish and chips. He seemed to say it wasn't the same as before. 3 stars may be a little generous, but It wasn't terrible but it wasn't great and wouldn't want to go again. Might have been different if we'd ordered different things though, but the menu is relatively small.

A good menu offering a wide choice. We enjoyed a good meal with great service and atmosphere. It was busy and we were told 10/15 mins for a table and this was spot on. A text service tells you the table is ready. I would recommend a visit here. We didn’t realise there was a Forrest Gump connection until we visited.

Food was amazing. Server Jarrod was friendly and attentive. Warning they make really strong coffee, made mine fresh it took 4 half and half and 3 sugar before it tssted good to me but i could drink it which i needed cause i was tired. Prices are reasonable to moderate.

Always love visiting Bubba Gumps! It was my Husband's birthday and loved the song they sang to him! We had cast and delightful service and more than enough to eat.

First time in Bubba. But I would come as many as I can. Nice staff. They knew what you want. Great food. Authentic & delicious

Food was great! You get what you pay for. Service was also great. Felt right at home.

Most of the time when we visit the Aquarium, we eat here. For the non seafood fans and kids there's chicken, pizza, Mac and cheese etc. Good drinks and beers too! Great service to boot! Good all around dining. Great for families and Forrest Gump fans

Service was nice. Had to wait but a huge party ahead of so okay not too bad. Food was so so. Edible. Not worth what i paid. Great atmosphere.

Good food as always. Also the servers here were very good, as well as super fun and personable. We did get cut off on drinks though which has never happened to me before, but we were there for like three hours so I guess it makes sense. And there's a first time for everything. But our servers made it a really enjoyable evening

Even in the COVID-19 times, Bubba Gump has given a nice outside atmosphere along with great food that is presented very well.

Staff is super friendly and helpful. The food is surprisingly delicious, especially the salmon. It's very family friendly and a great place to eat if you want to bring your dog.

It's definitely a busy place and the wait its usually between 30 min to an hour for a party of 3+ but awesome service and the waitress make sure to have your order correct!

Would definitely recommend! The service was A+ and the food was delicious. Family friendly place for sure. All of our drinks came with a take home souvenir cup and the kids meal come a in the cutest boat container. My kid loved it!

Just ok. Not great service and shrimp poorboy was not great. We wound up just eating the shrimp, which were good

Went in for take out. The bartender was friendly. The food was disastrous. All items were cold. . The fish in the fish and chips were grease laden. The shrimp in the coconut shrimp dish was also greasy but extremely overcooked. The worst I have ever had. Think pebbles coated and fried with coconut.

The food and service are good. However there is only outdoor seating and its very crowded. No social distancing, doesn't feel safe.

Great food. Great atmosphere. Lt. Dan Surf & Turf was awesome. The run across America sampler was great except for the chicken strips!

When Forrest Gump was still in style as a great movie, so was Bubba Gump restaurant. Now they don't come to the table and play the trivia game, and the food has gone down a couple of notches, as has the slow service. Food is not as great, service is not as great, and the experience is lacking energy and enthusiasm.

Wish I had taken pictures. Shrimp? Amazing! I got the shrimper's heaven and was not disappointed. There are different variety of shrimp which is great if you want shrimp but would like to try 'em all! We also got the shrimp bucket appetizer or something like that and the cajun seasoning. Mm! Too good. Would definitely come back again!

I got 2 dishes the ribs and tilapia. The were both delicious and seasoned just right. The service was good. We got a few free cups after dinner which was really cool too. I definitely recommend and I will return.

Our first time here was good. We would of liked a little more attention from the server but I’m rating it this time only for the great food and not the service. Best mozzarella sticks I’ve ever had. My nephew and son loved their desserts. Will definitely be coming back for next summer as long beach has become one of our favorite places to be during the summer time.

My expectations were very high to visit this place. I love seafood which is nice fresh cooked to order with a very flavoursome sauce. The place didn't hit all the spots. The ambience and service was good 5 star but food only 3 star.

Love Bubba Gump's. A little pricey for what you get but good food great atmosphere and awesome service. Good way to end a day at the aquarium.

Love it with the outside dining it was nice to be able to go out during these difficult times.

This was an excellent experience. Simon was so sweet & he made sure we had a great time. The food was plentiful & tasty. It was fun to read all the signs & look at the pictures. I can't remember the name of the dish but it was shrimp, calamari, fish, pepperoncinis, onions, & bell peppers on a bed of French fries. My mom & I shared it & it was plenty of food.

Very good service, good food as always lots of options even with the reduced menu for covid-19. Still get to keep the cup with certain drunks wich was nice.

Mac and cheese, delicious.. not a fan of the jambalaya. It didnt taste like it. I tried other food and it was good. The server was very helpful.

Excellent food. The restaurant is modern and bright. The pricing of the item is on the more expensive side, however it's worth it. Seafood chowder was delicious and perfectly spiced. The trout dip was flavorful and filling. I ordered the shrimp and crab Louie - healthy portion size and generous on the seafood. Other dining partners ordered the branzino and scallops which were perfectly seasoned and tasty. Also had the lemon tart for dessert and it was heavenly. Highly recommended!

The outside seating is done very well. And the food was great.

Super delicious!!! The fried chicken breast and corn and mashed potatoes was amazing!!! All worth it! Pricey as hell but if you want to splurge this is the place

Great food! As good or better than expected. We ate on the patio. It was a very enjoyable treat. Strange entry process, but service was great after being seated. Restrooms were flooded, so patrons were told to use those across the street. Those were open to the public and filthy. That, of course, was a very distasteful distraction to what was an otherwise enjoyable experience.

Overpriced for the quality. The homeless are all over the area. The smell of urine, feces, and trash are waiting to greet you in beautiful downtown Long Beach.

Food was good. Service was great. Medium range on price. A little pricey, but good quality food. We all ordered something different. Everyone enjoyed what they got.

It wasn't bad. But it wasn't that good either. Definitely not worth the price. It's like the outback steakhouse of seafood. I liked the ambiance though.

First time here and we had a good experience. Fresh hot shrimps and fish. Will definitely come back and try other foods. Everything we had was delicious and the service was great.

Good, but Not great. Atmosphere decent, all about the movie. Personally, didn't care for the Gump movie trivia game from wait staff but others liked it. A good meal, but doesn't knock your knickers off.

Its clean and organized here. They have people disinfecting continously. An you can tell they are taking all the precautions.
